HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD-66-80 INCREASING SANITATION AND SEWAGE SYSTEM CHARGES TO THE VARIOUS TYPES OF OCCUPANCIES AND SERVICESORDINANCE NO. 66- 80 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE ADOPTED AS AN URGENCY llliASURE AMENDING SECTIONS 13.60.020, 13.60.030 AND 13.60.040 OF THE ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE AND INCREASING THE SANITATION AND SEWAGE SYSTEM CHARGES TO THE VARIOUS TYPES OF OCCUPANCIES AND SERVICES MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE AFOREMENTIONED SECTIONS.WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orange has heretofore determined that the trash and rubbish contractor for the City has experienced cost increases which justify an increase of payment of compensation to the contractor for collecting trash and rubbish within the City of Orange; and WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore determined that such rate increase should be granted subject to certain conditions effective January 1, 1981, effective date of this urgency Ordinance; and WHEREAS, the aforementioned increase in payments to the contractor necessitates the increase of sanitation and sewage charges to the various types of occupanices and services more particularly described in Sections 13.60. 020,13.60.030 and 13.60.040 of the Orange Municipal Code.NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNClL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:SECTION I:Sections 13.60.020, 13.60.030 and 13.60.040 of the Orange Municipal Code shall be amended as follows:13.60.020 Char es in connection with sanitation and s sewage system.
