AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ORANGE AMENDING SECTION 17.06.020 OF THE
ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE AND APPROVING THE
RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY SITUATED AT
THE TERMINUS OF GRANT PLACE, NORTH OF CHAPMAN
AVENUE.

RECITALS:
After report thereon by the Planning Commission and after
due public hearings as required by law, and after finding the
facts as shown by Resolution No. 5163 adopted by the City Council,
the City Council of the City of Orange has concluded that the
following amendment to Section 17.06.020 of the Orange Municipal
Code should be adopted:
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I:

Section 17.06.020 of the Orange Municipal Code, by which
there is classified as R-1-6 and RD-6-
A Districts, that certain real property in the City of Orange, County
of Orange, State of California, hereinafter described, is amended
in order to change the zoning classification of said property
to the RM-7-A District.
Said property
is described as follows:PARCEL 1:The East half of the East half
of Lot 2 of the Orangewood Tract, in the City of
Orange, County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded
in Book 7, Page 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, in
the office of
the County Recorder of said County.EXCEPT the South
423 feet thereof, said distance being measured to the centerline of the
60 foot
road as shown on said map.The West half of the East half
of Lot 2 of the Orangewood Tract, in the City of
Orange, County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded
in Book 7, Page 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, in
the office of
the County Recorder of said County.EXCEPT the South
433 feet thereof, said distance being measured to the centerline of the
60 foot

An easement for road, incidental and public utility purposes
over the East 25 feet of the South 458 feet of the West half
of the East half and over the West 25 feet of the South 458
feet of the East half of the East half of Lot 2 of the
Orangewood Tract, in the City of Orange, County of Orange,
state of California, as per map recorded in Book 7, Page 42
of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder
of said County, said 458 feet being measured to the centerline
of the 60 foot road as shown on said map.
Except that portion lying wi thin Parcell.
SECTION II:
This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15)
days after its passage in the Orange City News, a newspaper of
general circulation, published and circulated in the City of
Orange, and shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after
the date of its final passage.
