AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ORANGE AMENDING SECTION 17.06.020 OF THE
ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE AND APPROVING THE
RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY SITUATED ON THE
EAST SIDE OF ~ATAVIA STREET, SOUTH OF FLETCHER
AVENUE.

RECITALS:WHEREAS, after report thereon by the Planning
Commission and after due public hearings as required by law, and
after finding the facts as shown by Resolution No. 5159 adopted
by the City Council, the City Council of the City of Orange
has concluded that the following amendment to Section 17.06.020
of the Orange Municipal Code should be adopted;
and WHEREAS, there now exists in the unincorporated
territory of the County of Orange certain real property
hereinafter described which is designated as County of Orange A-I
District; and WHEREAS, the City of Orange desires that
the property hereinafter described be classified as City of
Orange M-l District upon completion of
annexation proceedings incorporating the territory into the
City of Orange.NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ORANGE DOES
ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:SECTION I:The following described real property is
hereby changed to City of Orange M-l District, said :owning
to be effective upon annexation of said real property to the
City of Orange. Said real property is more
particularly described
as follows:PARCEL 1:That portion of the land allotted to T.
D. Mott and Ascension SepUlveda in Decree of Partition of
the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, recorded in Book B of
Judgments of the 17th Judicial District Court of California,
in the County of Orange, State of
California, described as follows;Beginning at the Southwest corner of
the land conveyed to Alf Howard Barnes by deed recorded February
10, 1944 in Book 1230, Page 548 of Official
Records, said Southwest corner being in the centerline of the road
conveyed to the County of Orange by deed recorded January 17,
1917 in Book 299,Page 131 of deeds; thence southe~ly 260..
67 feet along said centerline to a point 315.34 feet
trom the Northwest corner of the land conveyed to Ervin H. Mann
by deed re<;:orded November 23, 1936 in Book 858, Page

South 890 57' 30" West 235.85 feet; thence North 00 50'
East 64.09 feet to the Southeast corner of the land conveyed
to said Alf Howard Barnes; thence Westerly 287.53 feet

ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15)days
after its passage in the Orange City News, a newspaper of general
circulation, published and circulated in the City of Orange,
and shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after the
date of its final passage.ADOPTED
