ORANGE AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING SECTION 9101 OF THE
ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE AND APPROVING THE
RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY SITUATED ON THE SOUTH AND
WEST SIDES OF WINDES DRIVE, NORTH OF LEWIS
DRIVE.Pre-Zone

909 RECITALS:WHEREAS, after report thereon by the
Planning Commission and after due public hearings as required by law,
and after finding the facts as shown by Resolution No. 5131
adopted by the City Council, the City Council of the City of
Orange has concluded that the following amendment to Section 9101
of the Orange Municipal Code should be
adopted; and WHEREAS, there now exists in the
unincorporated territory of the county of Orange certain real
property hereinafter described which is designated as County of Orange E4-
1 District; and WHEREAS, the City of Orange desires
that the property hereinafter described be classified as City of
Orange R-1-40 and R-O Districts
upon completion of annexation proceedings incorporating the
territory into the City of Orange.NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF
ORANGE DOES
O~AIN AS FOLLOWS:SECTION I:The following described
real property is hereby changed to City of Orange R-1-40
and R-O Districts, said zoning to be effective upon annexation
of said real property to the City of Orange.
Said real property is more particularly described as follows:That portion
of Section 13, Township 4 South, Range 9
West,San Bernardino Meridian, in the unincorporated territory of
the County of
Orange, State of California, more particularly described as follows:Beginning at
an angle point in the existing boundary line of the
City of Orange, said angle point being the Southwesterly terminus
of that certain course described as "North 150 26'50. East,
474.15 feet" per Annexation No. 231, .said angle point being in the
Northerly line of Wi~des Dr~ve, 40.00 feet
in width; thence, along said exist~ng boundary line
through its various courses in a general
Southeasterly and Southwesterly direction to the Southwesterly terminus of that
certain course described as "North 740 57' 00" East,192.
66 feet" in said Annexation No. 231, said Westerly terminus being an
angle point in the boundary of. Parcel 1 of a deed
recorded in Book 11098, Page 169 of Officlal Records
of the City of Orange and along said boundary of Parcel 1
descr ibed in said deed through the following courses: North
12046' 00" East, 37.50 feet; North 43. 10' 00. West, 189.45
feet; North 23. II' 00" West, 87.55 feet; South 87. 49' 50.
West, 206.97 feet; South 80. 53' 20. West, 129.57 feet;
South 650 48' 10" West, 107.42 feet to the Southwesterly
line of said Parcell; thence, North 230 09' 00. West, along
said Southwesterly line and its Northwesterly prolongation,
632.30 feet to a point in said existing boundary line of the
City of Orange per Annexation No. 228, said point also being
a point on said Northerly right-of-way line of
Windes Drive 40 feet in width); thence, Northeasterly along
said existing boundary line per said Annexation No. 228 and
said Northerly right-of-way line to an angle point
in said existing boundary line, said angle point being the
Southerly terminus of that certain course described as "South 170
34' 40. East, 150 feet, more or less," said point being
on a non-tangent curve in said Northerly
right-of-way line concave Southerly and having a radius of 120.00
feet, a radial line to said point bears North 240 34
I 27" West; thence leaving said existing boundary line of
the City of Orange and continuing along said
Northerly right-of-way line of Windes Drive, Easterly along said curve
through a central angle of 23. 56' 07. an arc distance of
50.13 feet to a tangent line; thence along
said tangent line and Northerly right-of-way line North 890
21' 40" East, 150.70 feet to the Point of Beginning.
The above
parcel of land contains 11 acres, more or less.SECTION
II:This ordinance shall be published once wi thin fifteen (15)days
after its passage in the Orange City News, a
newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of
Orange, and shall take effect thirty (
30) days from and after the date
of
its final passage.
