NO. 2-80
AN ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING
SECTION 9101 OF THE ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE AND
APPROVING THE RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY SITUATED
IN THE VICINITY OF WINDES DRIVE AND LEWIS
DRIVE.RECITALS:WHEREAS, after
report
thereon by the Planning Commission and after due
public hearings as required by law, and after finding the facts
as shown by Resolution No. 5129 adopted by the City Council,
the City Council of the City of Orange has concluded that the
following amendment to Section 9101 of the Orange Municipal Code
should be adopted; and WHEREAS, there now
exists in the unincorporated territory of the County
of Orange certain real property hereinafter described which is
designated as County of Orange E4-1 District; and WHEREAS, the
City of Orange desires that the property hereinafter described
be classified as City of Orange R-1-40
District upon completion of annexation proceedings incorporating
the territory into the City of Orange.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I:
The following described real property is hereby changed to
City of Orange R-1-40 District, said zoning to be
effective upon annexation of said real property to the City of
Orange. Said real property is more particularly described
as follows:Portions of Sections 13, 23 and 24, Township 4
South, Range 9 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, Rancho
Santiago de Santa Ana, in the County of Orange, State
of California,more particularly described
as follows:
PARCEL 1:BEGINNING at a point on the existing boundary line
of the City of Orange, said point being at the
intersection of Annexation No. 228 to the City of Orange,
Ordinance No.84-64 and Annexation No. 231 to the
City of Orange,Resolution No. 5080, said point lilao being
on the Westerly right-of-way line of Windes Drive,
40 feet in width, North 80 42' 00" West 685 feet, more
or less, from the Northerly right-of-way line of Santiago
Canyon Road, 60 fe~t in width;thence continuing
along said existing boundary Ilne as shown in said Annexation No. 231,
North 850 29' 00. East 283.07 feet North 190 18' 00. West
372.42 feet, North 500 50' 00.East' 7 9.

of said Windes Drive and along a tangent curve
concave Northwesterly having a radius of 151.19 feet through a central
angle of 300 36' 00" an arc distance of 80.75 feet to a point
on a tangent line per Record of Survey 5-20; thence
North 200 14'00" East 426.13 feet to a point on a
tangent curve concave westerly having a radius of 213.19 feet;
thence along said curve through a central angle of 340 44' 50.
an arc distance of 129.28 feet to a point on a tangent line
per Parcel Map 114-10; thence North 140 30' 50. West 403.40
feet to a point on a tangent curve concave Northeasterly
having a radius of 236.29 feet; thence along said curve
through a central angle of 190 32' 00" an arc distance of 80.
55 feet; thence North 840 58' 50" West 40.00 feet to a
point on the existing boundary line of the City of Orange
as shown in said Annexation No. 228; thence along
the existing boundary line of the City of Orange as created by
said Annexation No. 228 through its various courses
in a general Southwesterly,Northwesterly,
Southwesterly, Southeasterly, and Northeasterly direction to
the Point
of Beginning.PARCEL 2:BEGINNING at a point on the existing
boundary line of the City of Orange, said point being at
the terminus of the course "North 6022' 00" East 40.13
feet" as described in Annexation No. 231 to the City
of Orange, Resolution No.5080, said point also being
on the Southeasterly prolongation of the Northerly line of Lewis Drive, 40
feet in width, a distance of 40.13 feet; thence
departing from said existing boundary line North 60 22' 00. East 61.
35 feet; thence North 380 37' 00" East 82.78 feet; thence North
570 48' 00. East 95.30 feet; thence North 630 47' 00. East 59.
42 feet to a point on the existing boundary line of
the City of Orange;thence along said existing boundary line
as shown in said Annexation No. 231, South 110 00' 00. West
235.90 feet, and North 79000' 00" West 150.00 feet to
the Point of Beginning.Parcel 1 contains
approximately 19.95 acres.Parcel 2 contains
approximately 0.
59 acres.SECTION II:This ordinance shall be published
once within fifteen (15)days after its passage in the Orange City News~

days from and after the date
