92 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING APPENDIX A
OF CHAPTER 2.14 OF TITLE 2 OF THE
ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO CONFLICT
OF INTEREST
CODE.The City Council of the City of Orange does hereby ordain
as
follows:section
I:Appendix A of Chapter 2.14 of Title 2 is hereby amended
by revising the designated positions of the community
Development,Fire, General Services, and Water Departments as
follows:Communitv Development
Department The following designated positions and disclosure
categories are hereby added to the Community Development
Department:Combination Building Inspector ......1, II,
III"Redevelopment Project Manager........I, II,
III"The following designated position is hereby
deleted:Block Grant Program
Coordinator"Fire
Department The following designated position and disclosure
categories are hereby added to the Fire
Department:Assistant Fire Chief.................I, II, III,
IV"The following two designated positions are hereby
deleted:Operations
Chief"
Inspector"General Services
Department The position title "Buyer I" is hereby amended to "
Senior
Buyer"
Water The position title "Office Engineer" is hereby
deleted from the Water Department list of designated employees and
the title "Assistant civil Engineer" is hereby changed to "
Senior civil
section II:
Chapter 2.14 of Title 2 of the Orange Municipal Code is
hereby repealed in its entirety effective January 1, 1993,
subject to the City Council's adoption by resolution of the
California Fair Political Practices commission's standard
Conflict of Interest Code, and subject further to such Code being
effective on January 1, 1993.
section III:
In the event that anyone or more of the phrases, sentences,
clauses, paragraphs, or sections contained in this Ordinance
shall be declared invalid or unenforceable by a valid judgment or
decree of a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or
unenforceability shall not affect any of the remaining phrases,
sentences, clauses, paragraphs, or sections of this Ordinance
with which are hereby declared as severable and shall be
interpreted to carry out the intent hereunder.
section IV:
A summary of this Ordinance shall be published and a
certified copy of the full text of this Ordinance shall be posted
in the Office of the City Clerk at least five (5) days prior to
the city Council meeting at which this Ordinance is to be
adopted. A summary of this Ordinance shall also be published
once within fifteen (15) days after this Ordinance's passage in a
newspaper of general circulation, published, and circulated in
the city of Orange. The City Clerk shall post in the Office of
the city Clerk a certified copy of the full text of such adopted
Ordinance along with the names of those City Council members
voting for and against the Ordinance in accordance with
Government Code section 36933. This Ordinance shall take effect
thirty (30) days from and after the date of its final passage.
