92 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING SECTION 17.06.
020 OF THE ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE AND
APPROVING THE RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY
SITUATED ALONG SANTIAGO CREEK WEST OF TUSTIN
STREET.ZONE CHANGE NO.
1152-92 APPLICANT: SANTIAGO

ASSOCIATES RECITALS:WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing as required by law and did recommend adoption of this
zone change
ordinance; and WHEREAS, the city council did hold public
hearings as required by
law; and WHEREAS. after consideration of the
Planning Commission recommendation and all evidence presented, the city
council did find that the proposed PC zone classification and PC
Zone Text does represent a reasonable regulation for the proper
and orderly development of the subject property, consistent
with and compatible with surrounding land
use designations.NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ORANGE DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I:section 17.06.020 of the Orange Municipal Code,
by which there is classified as R-I-7 District,
that certain real property in the City of Orange, County of
Orange, State of California,hereinafter described, is amended in order
to change the zoning classification of said property to
the PC (Planned Community)District, and shall be subject to all of the
provisions of the PC Zone Text attached hereto and
hereby incorporate
by reference.SECTION II:A summary of this Ordinance shall
be published and a certified copy of the full text of this
Ordinance shall be posted in the Office of the city Clerk at least five (
5) days prior to the city Council meeting at which this
Ordinance is to be adopted. A summary of this Ordinance
shall also be published once within fifteen (15) days after this
Ordinance's passage in the Orange city News, a
newspaper of general circulation,published, and circulated in the City of
Orange. The city Clerk shall post in the Office of the city Clerk
a certified copy of the full text of such adopted Ordinance along
with the names of those City Council members voting for
and against the Ordinance in accordance with Government Code
section 36933. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after
final passage.
