HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD-09-93 Amend Sec 17.06.030 Reclassify Property on Culver Ave and Shaffer STORDINANCE NO. 9- 93 AN ORDINANCE OP THE CITY COUNCIL OP THE CITY OP ORANGE AMENDING SECTION 17.06. 030 OP THE ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE AND RECLASSIPYNG PROPERTY SITUATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OP CULVER AVENUE BETWEEN SHAFPER STREET AND CAMBRIDGE STREET AND CERTAIN ADJOINING PARCELS ON THE EAST SIDE OP SHAFPER STREET AND THE WEST SIDE CAMBRIDGE STREET TO THE R- 2-6 CLASSIPICATION. ZONE CHANGE 1159-93 APPLICANT: CITY OP ORANGE RECITALS:After report thereon by the Planning commission and after due public hearings as required by law, and after finding the facts as shown by Resolution No. 8199 adopted by the city Council, the City Council of the city of Orange has concluded that the following amendment to section 17.06. 030 of the Orange Municipal Code should be adopted:NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Orange does ordain as follows:SECTION I:section 17.06.030 of the Orange Municipal Code and the Zoning Map referred to therein, by which there is classified as R-1-6 District, that certain real property in the City of Orange,County of Orange, State of California, hereinafter described, is amended in order to change the zoning classification of said property to the R-2-6 District.Said property is shown on Exhibit A hereto and addressed as follows:504 to 816 E. Culver Avenue (even numbers on south side)406 to 444 S. Cambridge street (even numbers on west side)425 to 447 S. Shaffer Street (odd numbers on east side)400 Block S. Pine Street, parcels 2 and 3 (810 E. Culver subdivision)SECTION II:severability - Should any sentence, section, clause, part or provision of this ordinance be declared invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any other part thereof.SECTION III:A summary of this Ordinance shall fied copy of the full text of this Ordinance shall be posted in the Office of the City Clerk at least five (5) days prior to the City Council meeting at which this Ordinance is to be adopted. A summary of this Ordinance shall also be published once within fifteen (15) days after this Ordinance's passage in a newspaper of general circulation, published, and circulated in the City of Orange. The city Clerk shall post in the Office of the City Clerk a certified copy of the full text of such adopted Ordinance along with the names of those City Council members voting for and against the Ordinance in accordance with Government Code section 36933. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after the date of its final passage.
