SECTXON 2.04.020 OF CHAPTER 2.04 OF TXTLE
2 OF THE ORANGE MUNXCIPAL CODE
PERTAXNING TO CXTY COUNCXL REGULAR MEETXNG
DATES AND
TXMES.The city Council of the City of Orange does ordain
as
follows:SECTXON
X:section 2.04.020 of the Orange Municipal Code is
hereby amended to read as
follows:Section 2.04.020. Reaular Meetina
Time The regular meetings of the City Council shall be
held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month
and shall convene at the hour of 4:30 p.m. and
continue until no later than 10:00 p.m.; provided, however,
that the City Council may extend such hour of adjournment
by a majority vote. In the event any such Tuesday is
a legal holiday, the City Council meeting shall
convene on the next day at the hour of 4:30 p.
m."SECTION
XX:The provisions of this Ordinance shall become
effective on October 1,
1994.SECTXON
In:A summary of this Ordinance shall be published and
a certified copy of the full text of this Ordinance shall
be posted in the Office of the City Clerk at least five
days prior to the City Council meeting at which this Ordinance
is to be adopted. A summary of this Ordinance shall also
be published once within fifteen (15) days after
this Ordinance's passage in a newspaper of general
circulation,published, and circulated in the city of Orange. The
city Clerk shall post in the Office of the city Clerk a
certified copy of the full text of such adopted Ordinance along
with the names of those city Council members voting for
and against the Ordinance in accordance with Government
Code section 36933. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (
30)days from and after the date of its final
ADOPTED this 71rd day of August 1994.
