OF ORANGE ENACTING THE SANTA FE DEPOT
AREA SPECIFIC PLAN BY AMENDING SECTION 17.06.020
OF THE ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE AND APPROVING
THE RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON
THE NORTH AND SOUTH SIDES OF CHAPMAN
AVENUE BETWEEN PIXLEY AND OUVE STREETS, BOTH
SIDES OF THE 100 BLOCKS OF NORTH CYPRESS AND
LEMON STREETS AND THE EAST SIDE OF THE 100 BLOCK
OF NORTH PIXLEY

Oranae RECITALS:WHEREAS, after report thereon by the Planning Commission and after
due public hearings as required by law, and after finding the facts as shown by Resolution
No. 8301 adopted by the City Council, the City Council of the City of Orange has concluded
that the following amendment to Section 17.06.020 of the Orange Municipal Code should
be adopted:NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section I Section 17.06.020 of the Orange Municipal Code, by which there is classified
as M-1 Light Manufacturing) District, that certain real property in the City of
Orange, County of Orange, State of California, here in after described, is amended in order to
change the zoning classification of said property to the S-P (Specific Plan) District, as set
forth on Exhibits "A,"B," "C," "0" and "E," which are attached hereto and made a part hereof
as though
fully set forth herein.That certain document described as Santa Fe Depot Area Specific Plan is
on file in the Offices of Community Development and City ClerK are hereby
incorporated into this ordinance and made as part hereof as though
fully set
forth herein.Section II A summary of this Ordinance shall be published and a certified copy of
the full text of this Ordinance shall be posted in the Office of the City ClerK at least five (5)
days prior to the City Council meeting at which this Ordinance is to be adopted. A
summary of this Ordinance shall also be published once within fifteen (15) days after this Ordinance'
s passage in the Orange City News, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated
Orange. The City ClerK shall post in the Office of the City ClerK a certified copy of the full text
of such adopted Ordinance along with the names of those City Council members voting for
and against the Ordinance in accordance with Govemment Code Section 36933. This
Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after the date of its final passage.
ADOPTED this 15th day of February, 1994.
