PROPERTY
LOCATION: 515 S. Grand Street
REQUEST: A proposal to construct a new one and a half story, three-bedroom second unit
on a property zoned Duplex Residential (R-2-6). The property is a contributing
resource to the Old Towne Historic District. The project was continued by the
Design Review Committee on June 15, 2022 for revisions.
ENVIRONMENTAL
INFORMATION: The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per State CEQA Guidelines 1530 3 (Class 3
– New Construction) because the project consists of construction of a new
duplex residential unit in a residential zone, with the total number of units below
the maximum allowable in the R-2-6 zone.
