HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD-02-95 Amend Development Area XX Planned Community TextORDINANCB NO. 2- 95 AN ORDINANCB OP THB CITY COUNCIL OP THB CITY OP ORANGB AMENDING THB " SOUTHRIDGB DEVELOPMENT AREA XX PLANNED COMMUNITY" TEXT.ZONE CHANGE 1171-9.APPLICANT: PACIPIC RIDGE PARTNERS RECITALS:After report thereon by the Planning commission and after due public hearings as required by law, the City council of the city of Orange has concluded that the following amendment to southridge Development Area XX Planned Community" should be adopted:NOW, THBREFORE, the City council of the City of Orange does ordain as follows: SECTION I:The "Southridge Development area XX Planned Community "text is hereby amended as follows:Replace section (SR)06.200-2 with the following:Garages. A private garage space required by this ordinance shall be provided as follows:A.. A single space garage shall have minimum interior dimensions clear of walls and supports of 1 0' wide,20' long, and 7' high.B.. A double space garage shall have minimum interior dimensions clear of walls and supports of 19' wide, 20'long, and 7' high,C.. A single or double garage space as described above shall not contain any mechanical or household utility equipment, such as a washing machine, dryer, air conditioning condenser, and hot water heater.Replace section (SR) 08.250 with the following:SRI 08.250 Recreation and Leisure Area Reauirements.1. The cumulative area provided shall equal at least 250 sq. ft. per dwelling unit.2.. A common recreation facility shall be provided.3.. Private areas 100 sq. ft. or greater, such as enclosed yards, balconies and patios may be counted toward the 4. Other usable common open space areas, having a minimum dimension of 15 feet and a minimum area of 250 sq. ft. may be counted toward the cumulative recreational/ leisure requirements. 5. Required setback areas may be counted toward the cumulative open space area requirement only when combined with adjacent open space areas, and the resulting area complies with the standard listed in item 4 above. 6. Areas that exceed 5% slope shall not be counted as recreation and leisure area. SECTION III: A summary of this Ordinance shall be published and a certified copy of the full text of this Ordinance shall be posted in the Office of the City Clerk at least five (5) days prior to the City Council meeting at which this Ordinance is to be adopted. A summary of this Ordinance shall also be published once within fifteen (15) days after this Ordinance's passage in a newspaper of general circulation, published, and circulated in the ci.ty of orange. The City Clerk shall post in the Office of the ci.ty Clerk a certified copy of the full text of such adopted Ordinance along with the names of those city Council members voting for and against the Ordinance in accordance with Government Code section 36933. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after the date of its final passage. Adopted this :14th day of .li'lnllary 1995.
