17 OF THE ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE
AND APPROVING THE RECLASSIFICATION

HOMES RECITALS:After report thereon by the Planning Commission and after due public
hearings as required by law, The City Cotmcil of the of Orange has concluded that
the following ameIlldment to Title 17 of the Orange Mtmicipal Code should
be adopted:NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Orange does
ordain
as follows:
SECTION I:Title 17 of the Orange Municipal Code, by which there is classified
as R-I-8 District, that certain real property in the City of Orange, COtmty
of Orange, State of California, hereinafter described, is amended in order to
change the zoning classification of said property
to the R-3 District.Said
property is described as follows:Being a subdivision of portion of Lot 1 of the
Fletcher Tract, as per Map recorded in Book 3, Page 320, of miscellaneous
records, in the office of the COtmty Recorder of Los Angeles COtmty,
in the City of Orange,COtmty
of Orange, State of California.Said amendment is approved in pmt, based upon
reliance on the applicant's stipulation to recording of a restriction against title to the
real property which restricts use of said real property to a residential
care facility
for the elderly.SECTION II:A summary of this Ordinance shall be published and a
certified copy of the full text of this Ordinance shall be posted in the Office of the City Clerk
prior to the City Council meeting at which this Ordinance is to be adopted. A summary
of tIris Ordinance shall also be published once within fifteen (15) days after this
Ordinance's passage in a newspaper of general circulation, published, and circulated in
the City of Orange. The City Clerk shall post in the Office of the City Clerk a certified
copy of the full text of such adopted Ordinance along with the names of those City
Council members voting for and against the Ordinance in accordance with Government
Codl~ Section 36933. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after the
date of its fmal passage.
