HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD-14-97 Apprive 3rd Amendment to Chapman College Specific PlanORDINANCE NO. 14- 97 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE UPHOLDING THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND APPROVING THE THIRD AMENDMENT TO THE CHAPMAN COLLEGE SPECIFIC PLAN.CHAPMAN UNIVERSITY RECITALS:After report thereon by thc Planning Commission and after due public hearings as required by law, the City Council of the City of Orange has concluded that the Third Amendment to the Chapman College Specific Plan should be approved.NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:SECTION I:The Third Amendment to the Chapman College Specific Plan is hereby approved in accordance with Exhibit " A".Said property is described as follows:All that property describcd by Exhibit A as attached to City Council Resolution 7231 and Ordinance 4-89, approving the Chapman College Specific Plan, specifically excluding Exhibits Band C; and That property described in City of Orange Ordinance 27-89,approving the first amendment to the Chapman College Specific Plan; and That property described in City of Orange Ordinance 1-96,approving the second amendment to the Chapman College Specific Plan; and The northern half portion of Lot 17, Richland Farm Lots Subdivision, as recorded in Book 5, Page 123, miscellaneous records of Los Angeles County (CA) SECTION II: A summary of this Ordinance shall be published and a certified copy of the full text of this Ordinance shall be posted in the Office of the City Clerk at least five (5) days prior to the City Council meeting at which this Ordinance is adopted. A summary of this Ordinance shall also be published once within fifteen (15) days after this Ordinance's passage in a newspaper of general circulation, published, and circulated in the City of Orange. The City Clerk shall post in the Officc of the City Clerk a certified copy of the full text of such adopted Ordinance along with the names of those City Council members voting for and against the Ordinance in accordance with Government Code Section 36933.
