THE CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING SECTION 17.06.
030 OF THE ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE
AND APPROVING THE PRE-ZONE
CLASSIFICATION TO C-l OF PROPERTY
LOCATED ALONG THE NORTHERLY PROPERTY
LINE OF THOSE PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF
ORANGE ON THE NORTH SIDE OF
CHAPMAN AVENUE BETWEEN EARLHAM AND HEWES,
PARALLEL TO AND BETWEEN CHAPMAN AVENUE IN
THE CITY OF ORANGE AND PEARL STREET IN
THE
COUNTY OF ORANGE.
Pre-Zone Change 1189-97 Applicant: City of Orange on Behalf
of William Mattern, Reynaldo Lozano,Larry Malone,
Harvey
Moreno and Margery Bassett RECITALS:WHEREAS, after report thereon by the
Planning Commission and after due public hearing as required by law, and after finding the facts
as shown by Resolution No.9010 adopted by the City Council, the City Council of the
City of Orange has concluded that the following amendment to Section 17.06.030 of
the Orange Municipal
Code should be adopted; and WHEREAS, there now exists in the unincorporated
territory of the County of Orange certain real property hereinafter described
which is currently unzoned; and WHEREAS, the City of Orange desires that
the property hereinafter described be classified as City of Orange C-I
District upon completion of annexation proceedings incorporating the
territory into the City of Orange.NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ORANGE
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:SECTION I:The real property described on Exibit "
A", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference is hereby classified
as City of Orange C-1 District,said zoning to be
SECTION II:
A summary of this Ordinance shall be published and a certified copy of the full
text of this Ordinance shall be posted in the Office of the City Clerk at least five days
prior to the City Council meeting at which this Ordinance is to be adopted. A summary
of this Ordinance shall also be published once within 15 days after its passage in a
newspaper of general circulation in the City of Orange. The City Clerk shall post in the
Office of the City Clerk a certified copy of the full text of the adopted Ordinance along
with the names of those City Council members voting for and against the Ordinance in
accordance with Government Code Section 36933.
