97 CHAPMAN UNIVERSITY RECITALS:After report thereon by the Planning Commission and after
due public hearing as required by law, the City Council of the City of Orange has
concluded that the following amendment to Title 17 of the Orange Municipal
Code should be adopted:NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE
DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:SECTION I:Title 17.06.020 of the Orange Municipal Code, is amended in order
to change the zoning classification
of property as follows:From Rl-6 (Duplex Residential District, Minimum Lot Size 6,000
square feet), to C-l (Limited Business District), that property addressed as 121 and
123 Sycamore Avenue,
that is more particularly described as:All that certain land situated in the State of
California, County of Orange,
City
of Orange, described as follows:Parcell:The east 62.00 feet of Lots 22 and 23 in Block "A"
of W. H. H. Clayton's subdivision of part of Richland Farm Lot No. 13, as
shown on a map recorded in Book 4, Page 6 of miscellaneous
maps, records
of Orange County, California.Parcel 2:An easement to install and maintain a
pipeline for sewer purposes over the northerly 5.00 feet of Lot 22 in Block "A" of W.
H. H. Clayton's subdivision of part of Richland Farm Lot No. 13, as shown on a map
recorded in Book 4, Page 6 of miscellaneous
Excepting therefrom tl1e east 62.00 feet thereof

A summary of this Ordinance shall be published and a certified copy of the full text of
this Ordimmce shall be posted in the Office of the City Clerk at least five (5) days prior to the
City Council meeting at which this Ordinance is adopted. A summary of this Ordinance shall
also be published once within fifteen (15) days after this Ordinance's passage in a newspaper of
general circulation, published, and circulated in the City of Orange. The City Clerk shall post in
the Offic:e of the City Clerk a certified copy of the full text of such adopted Ordinance along
witl1 the names of those City Council members voting for and against the Ordinance in
accordance with Government Code Section 36933. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30)
days from and after the date of its final passage.
