HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD-17-99 Zone Change 1199-99 Beazer Homes CaliforniaORDINANCE NO. 17- 99 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING TITLE 17 OF THE ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE AND APPROVING THE RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF PROSPECT STREET BETWEEN WALNUT AVENUE AND SPRING STREET, FROM R- O TO R-3.Zone Change 1199-99 Applicant: Beazer Homes California, Inc.RECITALS:After report thereon by the Planning Commission and after due public hearing as required by law, the City Council of the City of Orange has concluded that the following amendment to Title 17 of the Orange Municipal Code should be adopted:NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:SECTION I:Title 17.06.030 of the Orange Municipal Code is amended in order to change the zoning classification of property as follows:From R-O (Recreational Open Space) to R-3 (Multiple Family Residential District), 2,700 square feet of that property situated on the west side of Prospect Street between Walnut Avenue and Spring Street, depicted in Attachment 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference and more particularly described as:SUBDIVISION OF LOT 18 OF G. HOWARD THOMPSON TRACT AS PER MAP RECORDED IN BOOK 1, PAGE 22 OF RECORD OF SURVEYS, CITY OF ORANGE, COUNTY OF ORANGE.r-SECTION II:A summary of this Ordinance shall be published and a certified copy of the full text of this Ordinance shall be posted in the Office of the City Clerk at least five ( 5) days prior to the City Council meeting at which this Ordinance is adopted. A summary of this Ordinance shall also be published once within fifteen (15) days after this Ordinance's passage in a newspaper of general circulation, published, and circulated in the City of Orange. The City Clerk shall post in the Office of the City Clerk a certified copy of the full text with the names of those City Council members voting for and against the Ordinance in accordance with Government Code Section 36933. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after the date of its final passage. Adopted this 10th day of 1999.
