THE CITY OF ORANGE APPROVING A
PREZONE CHANGE REQUEST TO ALLOW
THE RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY
LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF MEADS
AVENUE,APPROXIMATELY 400 FEET SOUTH
OF SANTIAGO CANYON ROAD, FROM THE
COUNTY E4-1 TO THE CITY
R-I-40

1207-00 Applicant: Muskoka Development RECITALS:WHEREAS, there now exists in the
unincorporated territory of the County of Orange certain real property hereinafter described
which currently
has no City zoning designation; and WHEREAS, the City of Orange desires
that the property hereinafter described be classified as City of Orange R-
2-6 residential duplex district upon completion of annexation proceedings
incorporating the territory into the City of Orange.WHEREAS, after due public hearing as
required by law, the City Council of the City of Orange has concluded that
the following changes
to the Orange Municipal Code should be adopted.NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF

OF
ORANGE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:SECTION I:r-Section 17.06.030 of the Orange
Municipal Code is amended in order to
change the zoning classification of property as follows:From County of
Orange E4-1 to City of Orange R-1-40 (Residential,Single
Family, minimum lot size 43,560 square feet), that property located on
the west side of Meads Avenue, approximately 400 feet south
of Santiago Canyon
PARCELS 1 AND 2 AS SHOWN ON MAP 98-233, FILED IN
BOOK 313, PAGE(S) 7 AND 8 OF PARCEL MAPS, IN THE OFFICE OF
THE COUNTY RECORDER OF SAID COUNTY, IN THE COUNTY
OF ORANGE, STATE OF
CALIFORNIA.SECTION

A
summary of this Ordinance shall be published and a certified copy of the full text
of this Ordinance shall be posted in the Office of the City Clerk at least five (5) days prior
to the City Council meeting at which this Ordinance is adopted. A summary of this Ordinance
shall also be published once within fifteen (15) days after this Ordinance's passage
in a newspaper of general circulation, published, and circulated in the City of Orange.
The City Clerk shall post in the Office of the City Clerk a certified copy of the full
text of such adopted Ordinance along with the names of those City Council members voting
for and against the Ordinance in accordance with Government Code Section 36933.
This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after the date of its final
passage.ADOPTED
