THE CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING TITLES 12 AND 17
OF THE ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE,
AUTHORIZING MODIFICATIONS TO THE ULTIMATE
PLANNED WIDTH OF HElM AVENUE AND APPROVING
THE RECLASSIFICATION OF 6.09 ACRES OF
PROPERTY LOCATED EAST OF CANAL STREET AND SOUTH
OF HElM AVENUE, ADJACENT TO THE MALL
OF ORANGE, FROM C- TR, LIMITED
BUSINESS DISTRICT, TUSTIN REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECT AREA, TO R-2-6,
DUPLEX RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT.

Applicant: Greystone Homes, Inc.RECITALS:After report thereon by the Planning Commission and
after due public hearing as required by law, the City Council of the City of Orange
has concluded that the following amendment to Titles 12 and 17 of the Orange
Municipal Code should be adopted:NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF
ORANGE DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:SECTION I:Section 12.52.021.F.I0 of the Orange Municipal
Code is repealed and Sections 12.52.021.F.ll through 12.52.021.F.

be renumbered accordingly.SECTION II:Section 12.52.021.H of the Orange Municipal Code is
amended to read as follows:H. Commuter Roadways. Two travel lanes.

the Orange Municipal Code is amended in order to change the zoning classification of property as
follows:From C-TR (Limited Business
District, Tustin Redevelopment Project Area) to R-2-6 (Duplex Residential
District), that property situated on the east side of Canal Street and South
of Heim Avenue, adjacent to the Mall of Orange, consisting of 6.09 acres
described more particularly as follows:A portion of
Lot 381 and a portion of Lot 387 of the R. B. Taylor Tract, including one: parcel presently
owned by Mr. Eddie Rios, as shown on a map recorded in Book 36, pages
61 and 62, of Miscellaneous Maps, Records in the office of the County Recorder of
Orange County, California.SECTION V:A
summary of
this Ordinance shall be published and a certified copy of the full text of this Ordimmce shall
be posted in the Office of the City Clerk at least five (5) days prior to the City Coundl meeting
at which this Ordinance is adopted. A summary of this Ordinance shall also be published
once within fifteen (15) days after this Ordinance's passage in a newspaper of general circulation, published,
and circulated in the City of Orange. The City Clerk shall post in the Office of
the City Clerk a certified copy of the full text of such adopted Ordinance along with the names
of those City Council members voting for and against the Ordinance in accordanc(: with Government
Code Section 36933. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30)days from and
after the date of its final passage.Ord. No. 2-
