ORDINANCE NO. 10-
02 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING SECTIONS 2.60.
050 AND 10.06.040 OF THE ORANGE
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO FIXING THE DATES
AND TIMES FOR MEETINGS OF THE PARK
PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AND
THE CITY TRAFFIC COMMISSION BY
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL.THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE DOES ORDAIN
AS
FOLLOWS:SECTION
I:Section 2.60.050 of the Orange Municipal Code is amended to read as
follows:2.60.050 Regular
Meetings.The Park Planning and Development Commission shall meet
in regular session on dates and at times to be determined from time
to time by resolution of the City Council. All meetings shall be
open to the public, and provisions of the Brown Act shall
apply.SECTION
II:Section 10.06.040 of the Orange Municipal Code is amended to read as
follows:10.06.040 Meetings and
Quorum.A. Three members shall constitute a quorum. A majority vote
of the quorum present shall be required for all Commission
actions.Failure to achieve a majority vote of members present
shall constitute a denial of the proposed
action.B.The regular meetings of the Traffic Commission shall be held
in the City Council Chambers, 300 E. Chapman Avenue,
Orange,
California.C.The Traffic Commission shall meet in regular session on
dates and at times to be determined from time to time by resolution
of the City
SECTION III:
A summary of this Ordinance shall be published and a certified copy of the full text of
this Ordinance shall be posted in the Office of the City Clerk at least five (5) days prior to the
City Council meeting at which this Ordinance is to be adopted. A summary of this Ordinance
shall also be published once within fifteen (15) days after this Ordinance's passage in a
newspaper of general circulation, published, and circulated in the City of Orange. The City
Clerk shall post in the Office of the City Clerk a certified copy of the full text of such adopted
Ordinance along with the names of those City Council members voting for and against the
Ordinance in accordance with Government Code Section 36933. This Ordinance shall take
effect thirty (30) days from and after the date of its final passage.
