The Planning Cornmission of the City of Orange, California convened on December 6, 2021,
at 7:00 p.m. in a Regular Meeting in the Council Chamber, 300 E. Chapman Avenue, Orange,
California
1 OPENING/CALL TO ORDER
Vice-Chair Vazquez called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Commissioner Trapesonian led the flag salute.

David Casselman spoke about issues concerning the Santiago Creek bike trail
extension.
CONSENT CALENDAR
All matters listed under the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine by the
Planning Commission and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate
discussion of said items unless members of the Planning Commission, staff or the
public request specific items removed from the Consent Calendar for separate action.
Approval of meeting minutes of the Planning Commission of the City of Orange
for the November 15, 2021 Regular Meeting.
Note: Comrnissioner Martinez abstained due

ACTION: Approved minutes as presented.
Major Site Plan Review No. 0954-18, and Design Review No. 4954-18, Dental
Office and Training Facility, 1936 E. Katella Avenue
ACTION: Adopted Planning Commission Resolution No. 29-21 entitled:
A Resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Orange approving tr4ajor Site
Plan Review No. 0954-18 and Design Review No. 4954-18 to demolish an existing
3,611 square foot restaurant building and construct a 9,904 square foot two-story

dental office and training facility and related site improvements, located at 1936 E.
Katella Avenue.
Approval of the Consent Galendar
A motion was made by Commissioner GIasgow, seconded by
Trapesonian, to approve the Consent Calendar as noted. The motion
following vote:
Ayes: Yazquez, Glasgow, Martinez, and Trapesonian
Noes: None
Absent: SimPson
ASSISTANT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR REPORTS
Assistant Community Development Director Anna Pehoushek reported that the
Housing Element will be on the January 3,2022 Planning Commission agenda.
