FOR 22 YEARS OF LOYAL AND DEDXCATED
SERVXCB
WHEREAS, David Dieball began his career with the Police
Department as a patrol officer on October 1, 1969; and
WHEREAS, he was promoted to Detective on June 17, 1974,
working the majority of the available details; and
WHEREAS, David was promoted to the rank of Sergeant on
August 5, 1984 with assignments including patrol and detective
supervision; and
WHBREAS, his continued outstanding performance and unique
capabilities earned him many verbal, written and formal
commendations, and letters documenting his skills and abilities
in dealing with both his job and his dedication to the public;
and
WHBREAS, David has been a dedicated, dependable and
respected employee, and his contributions to the city of
Orange, and especially the Police Department, have made a
significant, positive impact; and
WHEREAS, David has announced his decision to accept a
service related retirement effective December 2, 1991.
NOW, THEREFORE, BB XT RESOLVED that the city council and
fellow employees of the City of Orange hereby express to David
L. Dieball sincere appreciation for his outstanding service to
the city, and further, wish David a healthy, prosperous and
satisfying retirement.
