A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ORANGB OVBRTURNING THE
DECISION OF THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR
AlID GRANTING VARIANCE NO. 1952-93
TO PERMIT AN ADDITIONAL SIGN
ALONG THE FRONTAGB OF PROPBRTY
LOCATED AT 1140 W. LA VBTA
AVBNUB.OWNER: ST. JOSBPH'S
HOSPITAL WHEREAS, the City Council did hold a public hearing
on August 10, 1993, to consider the appeal of st. Joseph's
Hospital from the decision of the Zoning Administrator denying
variance No. 1932-
32; and WHEREAS, based upon the evidence presented at
the hearing the city council determined that the variance
as conditioned,would not constitute the granting of a special
privilege incon-sistent with limitations on other properties in the
vicinity and zone and that the variance is needed to avoid public
health and safety impacts, traffic congestion and confusion
on public streets serving the
Medical Center.NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVBD that the City Council
of the City of Orange does hereby uphold the appeal of
the zoning Administrator's denial of Variance No. 1952-93
and hereby grants said variance subject to
the following condition:1. Prior to issuance of building permits,
the sign plans shall be reviewed and approved by the
Design Review Board.ADOPTED this 24th
