Section I:This vacation and abandonment of a portion of
a certain public street is made in accordance with the
Public streets,Highways, and Service Easements Vacation
Law, California streets and Highways Code Section 8300
et seq.
Section II:The public interest and convenience require, and it
is the intention of the City council of the city of Orange
to order the vacation of the following public right-
of-way easement and fix a time and place for hearing all
persons interested in, or objecting to, the proposed vacation,
pursuant to the require-ments of Section 8320 of the
California
streets and
Highways Code.Section III:The city of orange has
determined that the right-of-way easement for which this
abandonment is proposed is surplus to present needs for street uses
or for future needs except that it is the intention of
the city Council that all existing public utility easements,
that is to say water, sewer,telephone, cable
television, electrical, gas, etc., shall be
reserved and
excepted from such abandonment.Section IV:A description of the
general location and extent of the
subject right-of-way easement
is as follows:Prospect Street right-of-
way
easement adjoining Bond Avenue and running approximately 550 feet
north.The subject right-of-way easement to be
abandoned is more particularly described in Exhibit "A" which is
attached hereto and made a part hereof. The proposed vacation and abandonment
is shown
in
section V:
The City Council does hereby fix the time and place for
hearing all persons interested in, or objecting to, the vaca-
tion and abandonment of said public easements at the hour of
7:00 p.m. at the Council Chambers, Civic Center, 300 East Chap-
man Avenue, in the city of orange on the 15th day of March,
1994. All persons interested in, or objecting to, the proposed
vacation may appear before the city Council of the city of
Orange at said time, place, and date and show cause why such
described public easement should not be so vacated and
abandoned.

The Department of Public Works of the City of Orange shall
cause to be conspicuously posted along the line of said vaca-
tion, to wit: along the boundary line of that portion of said
public right-of-way easement proposed to be vacated
and aban-doned as aforesaid, notices of the passage of
this Resolution of Intent, and in the form, time, and manner required
by law;the City Clerk shall cause this Resolution to be published
in a newspaper of general circulation, published, and
circulated in the City
of Orange.said publication to be in the manner prescribed
for the publication of resolutions in the City
of orange.ADOPTED this 22nd day of
Februarv 1994.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION FOR VACATION OF A PORTION OF PROSPECT STREET
That portion of Prospect Street within Lots 10 and 11 in Block C of Ths Land
of Oge And Bond, in the City of Orange, County of Orange and in the
unincorporated territory of the County of Orange, both in the State of
california, as shown on map reqorded in Book 3, pages 430 and 431 of
Miscellaneous Records in the office of the County Recorder of the County of
Orange lying Easterly of the following described line:
Beginning at a point in the Easterly sideline of Prospect Street, 82.00 feet
wide, as shown on the map of Tract No. 13841, recorded in Book 674, pages 23
to 27 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County, said
point being the Southerly terminus of that certain curve concave to the West
and having a radius of 1541.00 feet; thence Northerly an arc distance of
383.97 feet through a central angle of 14'16'35" along said curve and its
Northerly prolongation; thence tangent to said prolongation NlO'05'23"E a
distance of 58.61 feet; thence Northerly an arc distance of 84.21 feet
through a central angle of 4001'14ft along a tangent curve concave to the
West and having a radius of 1200.00 feet to a point in the Easterly sideline
of Prospect Street, 70.00 feet wide, as shown on the map of said Tract No.
13841.
And also lying Northerly of the following described line:

Beginning at a point in the Northerly sideline of Bond Avenue as shown on
the map of said Tract No. 13841, said point being the Westerly terminus of
that certain curve concave to the North and having a radius of 240.00 feet;
thence Easterly an arc distance of 103.90 feet through a central angle of
24.47'17" along said curve and its Easterly prolongation to a point of
tangency with the Westerly prolongation of the Northerly sideline of Bond
Avenue, said sideline being parallel with and 40.00 feet Northerly of the
centerline of said Bond Avenue; thence S89.46'06"E along said Northerly
sideline and its Westerly prolongation to a point of intersection with the
Northeasterly line of Parcel 107.1 described in Easement Deed recorded in
Book 5241, page 298 of Official Records in the office of the County Recorder
of said county.
