A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE FINALLY ACCEPTING THE
COMPLETION OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC WORK
AND IMPROVEMENT; BID NO. 967-37; S.P. 3198;
R.J. NOBLE COMPANY; CHERRY DRIVE
FROM MAIN STREET TO 661.5' EAST OF MAIN
STREET AND LIME STREET FROM PALM AVENUE
TO SYCAMORE
AVENUE.WHEREAS, R. J. Noble Company, having a contract with the City of Orange
to construct the hereinafter described public work and improvement, has now
been completed the work to the satisfaction ofthe City of Orange;
and WHEREAS, the City of Orange Public Works Department has duly certified
to the construction and completion of said public improvement hereinafter more
particularly described in accordance with the provisions of the contract and the contract
documents;
and WHEREAS, a Notice of Completion and Acceptance of said public work
and improvement should be filed and payment of the balance due said contractor authorized
in accordance with the contract
documents.NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Orange that said public work and improvement be, and the same is hereby accepted.
Said public work and improvement is more particularly described as
follows:Cherry Drive from Main Street to 661.5' east of Main Street and Lime
Street from Palm Avenue to Sycamore
Avenue.BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Attorney of the
City of Orange be, and they are hereby authorized to execute and file a Notice of
Completion and Acceptance of said public works and improvement described herein as required
by
