RECOMMEND: 1) Uphold previous with a travelway width that varies from
recornmendation to Deny � � fifty-two (52) feet curb-to-curb at Cannon/

� school.. The conflicting vehicle volumes
were 50� vehicles in the morning and 81
� vehicles in the a�ternoon. The posted
. , speed limit is 40 MPH. There is a four-way
� STOP controlled crossing point 800 feet
west of the subject intersection at Linda
� Vista. The intersection of Santiaga Cyn
Road and Cannon/Loma Streets did not
. satisfy the required warrants for the estab-
lishment of a 4-way STOP control at an ,
arterial intersection. The assignment of
. . Right-of-Way is not indicated to be a

satisfy the required warrants for the

be denied. Speaking in opposition to CTSC
_ action of January 13, 1982 were Mr. and Mrs:
Tom Ebberts, 5825 E. Teton Avenue, Orange,
and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Looker, 5729 San Juan
Drive, Orange. Concerns expressed by those
� � speaking in favor of traffic controls at the
subject location included:
- Different traff ic patterns now that Katella

sessions of school in operation
- Difficulty of drivers to enter onto Santiagc

RECOMMEND• Deny Palmyra Avenue is an east-west local street ,
running between Flower �treet to the west and
Batavia Street to the east where it splits
into two offset tee intersections and continue
eastward to Wayfield Street. Palmyra Avenue
has a travelway width of thirty-four (34)
feet curb-to-curb between west of Batavia
Street and fourty (40) f eet east of Batavia
Street.. The intersection of Batavia Street
and Palmyra Avenue is a single STOP controlled
tee-intersection (3 legs) .

before entering the intersection. The inter-
section of Batavia Street and �Palmyra Avenue
had no accidents in the previous twelve month
period. There is not a problem with the
� alignment �of design of the intersection.
The average vehicular volume entering the
intersection from all approaches for an

intersection did� not satisfy the signal
