The purpose of the purchase of property is to acquire a permanent
location for the Orange Redevelopment Agency, which has outgrown its
present facility. Temporary facilities are proposed to be located at
1594 N. Batavia Street. (See City Council Minutes for March 26,
1991, pages 3-

TAPE 1743 A Resolution of the Orange Redevelopment Agency
approving an agreement for sale of property, leases and
related documents pertaining to 230 E. Chapman Avenue and 216 E.
Chapman Avenue.MOTION -

Resolution No. ORA-0223 as introduced be adopted and same was
passed and adopted by the preceding vote.
Consider request for a $135,000 appropriation necessary to complete
the transaction. There is $1,865,000 budgeted in Account No.
924-9811-481102-9159 for the purchase of the building
at 230 E.Chapman Avenue. The additional $135,000 will
cover relocation of Bayview Savings, seismic retrofittings,
and asbestos abatement.

Moved to approve the request for additional $135,000 appropriation to
cover relocation of Bayview Savings, seismic retrofittings, and
asbestos abatement.

of real property at 1594 North Batavia Street, including an
additional appropriation of $4,000. funds to come from accounts 910, 920,
and
