RES-8955 Lot Line Adjustment Approval No. LL-98-6RESOLUTION NO. 8955 A RESOLUTION OF THE CIlY COUNCIL OF THE CIlY OF ORANGE RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO, 8916 AND APPROVING LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT LL 98-6 ADJUSTING LOT LINES OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY SITUATED AT A PORTION OF LOT B OF THE BUSH AND WATSON TRACT AS SHOWN ON A MAP OF SURVEY MADE BY KNOX AND RUMBLE IN 1871 AND LOT 24 OF THE FLETCHER TRACT IN THE CITY OF ORANGE, COUNlY OF ORANGE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS SHOWN ON A MAP RECORDED IN BOOK 3,PAGE 320, OF MISCELLANEOUS RECORDS, IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF LOS ANGELES COUNlY,CALIFORNIA; MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN EXHIBITS "A" AND " B".WHEREAS, Section 66412(d) of the Subdivision Map Act makes provisions for the City Council to approve lot line adjustments by resolution where the land taken from one parcel is added to an adjacent parcel and where a greater number of parcels than originally existed is not thereby created; and,WHEREAS, the City Council has enacted Orange Municipal Code Sections 16.32. 010 et se:q., which provide the procedure to be followed for the approval of said lot line adjustment; and,WHEREAS, the Subdivision Section of the Department of Public Works and the Staff Review Committee have reviewed and recommended approval of Lot Line Adjustment No. LL 98-6 and have made a finding that the real property described as a portion of Lot B of the Bush and Watson Tract as shown on a map of survey made by Knox and Rumble in 1871 and Lot :24 of the Fletcher Tract in the City of Orange, County of Orange, State of California, copies of which exhibits are on file in both the offices of the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works of the City of Orange, complies with the provisions of the California Subdivision Map Act and all apphcable City of Orange ordinances and regulations, including the requirements for building sites;and,WHEREAS, the Subdivision Section of the Department of Public Works and the Staff Review Committee have made the following findings:1. That the proposal is eligible for processing as a lot line adjustment pursuant to Section 66412 of the Subdivision Map Act;2. That the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act have been met;3. That the proposal is consistent with the General Plan; and 4. That the resultant parcels will meet the requirements of the NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Orange concurs in the above findings; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proposed Lot Line Adjustment No. LL 98-6 as shown on Exhibits A and B is hereby approved and that the applicable property lines are adjusted upon recordation of this document and the recordation of the necessary grant deeds making the adjustment in conformance with this approval; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution, including Exhibits A and B, shall be recorded in the Office of the Orange County Recorder.ADOPTED this 9th day of June, 1998.anne Coontz, Mayor of the ~ ty of Orange c ATrEST: j l,Cassandra J.
