A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE APPROVING AND
ORDERING TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS
ANNEXATION NO. CA 97-02 (
MATTERN)ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF
ORANGE WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County adopted
its Resolution No. 97-11, on July 2, 1997, making determinations and approving
the proposed annexation to the city of Orange of territory described in Exhibits A and B attached
hereto and by this reference incorporated
herein; and WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of annexation approved by the
Local Agency Formation Commission are
as follows:1. Payment by the applicant of State Board of Equalization and County
Clerk fees.2. Tile effective date shall be the date
of recordation.3. The boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed to the City of
Orange are specifically described in the legal description attached hereto and by
this reference made a
part hereof.4. Said territory includes approximately 0.1 acres and is found to be uninhabited
and is assigned the following distinctive short-form
designation: "Mattern Annexation".5. The City of Orange is designated as the conducting authority and
is hereby directed to conduct proceedings without
notice and hearing.NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Orange hereby orders the annexation described in Exhibits A and B, annexed, and
directs the City Clerk to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the Executive Officer of
the LAFCO
of Orange County.Adopted this 13th day of
