The regular meeting of the Orange Pubiic Library Board of Trustees was called to order at 4:40 p.m. by Chairwoman Way at the Taft Branch Library. Present: Trustees Courtney, Gorham, McEwan and INay. Also present, Karen A. Leo, Library Director , and Sheila Gannon, Administrative Secretary. Absert: Trustee Saenz. il . Trustee Gorham moved that the mir�utes of the April 18 meeting be a�proved as presented. Seconded by Trustee Courtnsy. Moticn carried. ili . The Library D'+rector 's monthly report was reviewed and discussed. IV. Old Business: A. Director Leo stated that the RFP document will be mailed to 17 vendors on May 18. Responses from vendors are due on July 6. B. Director Leo reported on the FY 88/89 budget personnel requests: 1 . The request for a temporary 19-hour cataloger to assist in Technical Services was approved as a 10-hour position. 2. The request to change Gay{e Meldau from a 19-hour Librarian II to a 20-hour Librarian II was approved. 3. The request for a 20-hour Senior Administrative C{erk to assist Margaret Donnellan was denied.
