The Library Director 's monthly reports for February and March were reviewed . It was notd that reference questions at the Main Library were down. There was no apparent reason for this. However , Director Leo speculated that it may be due to the fact that tax forms are not in close proximity to the reference desk this year . Trustee Courtney noted that the number of books processed had doubled in March over the same period a year ago. Director Leo said this may be due to purchases being made earlier this fiscal year . Chairwoman Way arrived and assumed charge of the meeting. IV. Old Susiness: A. Joan Campbell reported on the progress of the Library Automation Prolect. She explained the facets of the RFP process.
