RES-9493 Terminating Existence of Local EmergencyRESOLUTION NO. 9493
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ORANGE TERMINATING THE
EXISTENCE OF A LOCAL EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Orange, acting as Director of
Ernergency Services, did proclaim the existence of a local emergency within the City of
Orange on the 1st day of April, 1999; at which time the City Council of the City of
Orange was not in session; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did thereby find that conditions of extreme peril
did warrant and necessitate the proclamation of the existence of a local emergency as
proclaimed in Resolution No, 9094 and further continued in Resolution No, 9103, and
WHEREAS, the City Council now finds that such conditions have been
remedied such that persons and property are no longer in peril, and
WHEREAS, Govemrnent Code Section 8630( d) provides that the City Council
shall terminate the emergency when conditions warrant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED AND ORDERED that the
proclarnation of a local ernergency is hereby terminated by the City Council of the City
of Orange,
