Buckeyewood Ave. and Cambridge St.
Roy Bullock
1889 N. Silverwood St.
Orange CA 92869
Oral presentation is based on the written staff report; please refer to your copy.
Chairman Fortier opened the public hearing for the following discussion:
: Rov Bullock — 1889 N. Silverwood St. — Many of us exit on Buckeyewood onto
Cambridge St. Sports programs and other events at the school require or allow people
to park all the way up to this corner, I consider this to be very dangerous because you
just can't see oncoming traffic. If you pull out far enough to see oncoming traffic and
somebody else comes up behind you there's no way you can back up, you're stuck.
Chairman Fortier closed the public hearing and returned the ,item to the
Commission for further discussion and a motion.

1. Request for the installation of red curb markings on the east side of the driveway
serving 3004 Ne Rippling Creek Dr.
Marcel Svoboda

Orange CA 92865
Oral- presentation is based on the written staff report; please refer to your copy.
Chairman Fortier opened the public hearing for the following discussion:
Martha Franco — 3010 N. Riqplinq Creek Dr. — He's diminishing our right to use public
property. Basically he wants to privatize his own property for his own selfish motives.
There really is no reason why he needs that curb painted red, as an immediate neighbor
when we have family get together we might be there for maybe half and hour or so.
There are several large families in the neighborhood and if you were to do so we'd have
people parking around the block just because of his satisfaction of having a red curb. It
wouldn't really benefit the neighborhood because then everyone else would want his or
her curbs painted as well. It's taking away my right to park in front of his house I don't

want his friends or family to park on my side of the street just because he painted his
sidewalk red, it's not fair to us either. This has been a good neighborhood until this man
moved in. From the first day he moved in he's basically terrorized the neighborhood;
he's made threats to the chi{dren.
Chairman Fortier closed the public hearing and returned the item to the Commission for
further discussion and a motion.
Commissioner Petronella— It's a residential street, it doesn't seem to be a safety issue, I
really don't know why it's on the Agenda.
Chairman Fortier— I went out there and I could see absolutely no prob{em, I didn't even
see a car parked out there. It seemed like one side the egress side it's very difficult for
cars to even get in there.
Commissioner Beif — f visited this street in the evening when you'd expect a lot of
residential cars to be there and there were hardly any cars on the street at that time.
