A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE EXPRESSING APPRECIATION
TO JOHN ENZLER OF THE CITY OF ORANGE
FIRE DEPARTMENT AND COMMEND HIM FOR
MORE THAN TWENTY-NINE YEARS OF
LOYAL AND DEDICATED
SERVICE.WHEREAS, John Enzler began his career with the City of Orange
Fire Department on August I, 1969 as a fireman and worked as a fireman for five years
until he was promoted to Fire Engineer in January of 1974 and, in January of 1977 he
was promoted to Fire Captain;
and WHEREAS, John was involved in many things one of which was as the
truck company officer for Truck 5 he was trained in confined space entry, swift water
rescue and trench rescue; he was a member of the Research 1md Development Committee for
the Fire Department and he managed the Small Spill Project and also assisted with
the Station 5
remodeling.WHEREAS, John was extremely well liked by his peers and supervisors due
to his positive attitude, and great sense of humor he was an excellent team member and
is truly missed by
all.NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, I, Mark A. Murphy, Mayor of
the City of Orange, on b(:half of the entire City Council, recognize and congratulate
John Enzkr for his twenty-nine years of loyal and dedicated service to the City of
Orange and that the City Council on behalf of all the citizens of Orange wish John and
his wife Charlene a long, happy, and
healthy retirement.ADOPTED this 23rd day of
