Chapman Avenue, Orange, California. 1. ROLLCALL PRESENT ABSENT 3:00 P.M. CONSENT CALENDAR 2.1 Declaration of the Clerk of the Orange Redevelopment Agency, Marilyn 1. Jensen, declaring posting of Orange Redevelopment Agency Agenda of regular meeting of May 11, 1993, at Orange Civic Center Main Library, the Police Facility at 1107 N. Batavia and the Eisenhower Park Bulletin Board; all of said locations being in the City of Orange and freely accessible to members of the public at least 72 hours before commencement of said regular meeting.ACTION: Accepted Declaration of Agency Posting and authorized its retention as a public record in the Office of the Agency Clerk.2.2 Request authorization to approve First-Time Homebuyer Loan and authorize the City Treasurer to prepare a check in the amount of$ 19,500.00. CONSENT CALENDAR (Continued) FISCAL IMPACT: Sufficient funds are available in Account No, 913-9804- 465701-9104 (First-Time Homebuyer Funds), Case #373, Detail number 23083 has been assigned to this loan. ACTION: Approved. MOTION SECOND AYES ABSENT Spurgeon Coontz Spurgeon, Barrera, Beyer, Coontz Murphy All items on the Consent Calendar were approved as recommended.END OF CONSENT CALENDAR 3. REPORTS FROM DIRECTORS Director Coontz commented, when the agreement with TRW was approved last September,Council had requested a six month status report, which was due Mid-March of this year. It is important that the schedule be followed. The Agency revenue preservation and the annual city revenue preservation were a basis for the TRW decision. This involved the tax increment projections, the question of whether TRW remained in the City or left, what this would do to the tax increment revenue and, the estimated base sales tax with TRW remaining or if it was relocating?Chairman Beyer directed the Economic Development Manager to provide the requested report and include the number of employees currently working at TRW.4. ORAL PRESENTATIONS - None PAGE 2 ORANGE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MINUTES May 11,1993 RECESS The Orange Redevelopment Agency recessed at 3:30 P.M. to Oosed Session for the following purposes: a. To give instructions to its negotiator in connection with the purchase, sale, exchange or lease of real property pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8. NOTE: The City Attorney added the following properties: Southeast corner of Palm Avenue and Palm Drive, Montessori School and 11841 Prospect, John Micuda. b. To confer with its attorney to decide whether to initiate litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956. 9( c). c. To confer with its attorney regarding potential litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(b)(1). d. To consider and take possible action upon such other matters as are orally announced by the General Counsel, Executive Director or Agency Members prior to such recess, unless the motion to recess indicates any other matters will not be considered in Closed Session.
