PRESENTATIONS Carole Walters, 534 N. Shaffer, commented the Redevelopment Agency held a closed
session regarding money for the Chapman University Law School. Mrs. Walters felt the public
should know the status since taxpayers money is
involved. The City Attorney advised there was a closed session item regarding the acquisition,
sale, purchase or exchange of certain properties in connection with the Glassell Street and
other properties. As long as those negotiations are ongoing, the reason for the closed session is to
give the real property negotiator some direction regarding the acquisition, sale, exchange or lease
of those properties. This is an exception to the Brown
Act.
