Orange resident, upon being named Ambassador of the United States of America to the United
Nations Agencies for Food and Agriculture by President George W. Bush.
Gaddi will be leading the Agencies for Food and Agriculture, which provides assistance to
developing countries, distributes information about nutrition, food, agriculture, forestry and fishery,
and offers services to governments with the goal of eliminating hunger in the world.
Gaddi developed a strong work ethic and the desire to succeed at an early age. He
understood the importance of education while attending elementary, junior and senior high schools
in Orange. He is a proud Orange High School graduate. When he graduated from the University of
Redlands, he was the first member of his family to earn a college degree.
