A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE EXPRESSING APPRECIATION
TO KENT KEILHOLTZ OF THE CITY OF ORANGE
FIRE DEPARTMENT AND COMMENDING HIM
FOR TWENTY YEARS OF LOYAL AND
DEDICATED SERVICE.
WHEREAS, Kent returned to California and joined the Orange Fire Department
as a firefighter on June 2, 1986 after holding positions as a firefighter in Washington and
Oregon, working construction, real estate sales and as a junior high school math teacher;
and
WHEREAS, Kent has always been known for being a dependable worker,
keeping his station in good order and taking great pride in stocking and maintaining his
rescue ambulance; and
WHEREAS, he willingly and cheerfully performed any extra tasks that were
asked of him. He was always pleasant to have around the station and was a team player;
and
WHEREAS, Kent was always known for following department safety practices
and for always looking out for the safety of others; and
WHEREAS, always courteous and helpful to the public and his coworkers, Kent
has been a valued member of the Orange Fire Department and will be missed.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Carolyn V. Cavecche, Mayor of the City of Orange, on
behalf of the entire City Council, hereby recognize and congratulate Kent Keilholtz for
his loyal and dedicated service to the citizens of Orange for twenty years and wish Kent
and his wife Sue a long, happy and healthy retirement.
