Chapman Avenue, Orange, California. 4:30 P.M. SESSION 1. RECESS MOTION SECOND AYES Murphy Barrera Murphy, Barrera, Chairman Coontz, Spurgeon, Slater The Redevelopment Agency recessed at 5:50 p.m. and reconvened at 7:20 p.m.10.PUBLIC HEARINGS Tape 5940 10.1 JOINT PUBLIC HEARING WITH THE ORANGE CITY COUNCIL TO CONSIDER THE THIRD AMENDMENT TO THE SOUTHWEST REDEVELOPMENT PLAN,ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT 1500-96:The joint public hearing with the City Council on the proposed adoption of the Third Amendment to the Southwest Redevelopment Plan for the Southwest Redevelopment Project Area has been continued from June 11, 1996 to this time. This proposal is to amend the Southwest Redevelopment Plan by adding approximately 2.2 acres of land comprised of a total of 13properties to the existing project area.PAGE 2 ORANGE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MINUTES June 25, 1996 10. PUBLIC HEARINGS (Continued) In compliance with the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Environmental Impact Report (EIR) 1500-96 has been prepared to evaluate the potential environmental impacts ofthis project. ORA-03l6 A Resolution of the Orange Redevelopment Agency certifying Environmental Impact Report No. 1500-96 for the Third Amendment to the Southwest Area Redevelopment Plan and Associated Genera~ Plan Amendment and Rezoning, subject to certain findings, approval of a Statement of Overriding Considerations, and approval of a Mitigation Monitoring Program. MOTION SECOND AYES ABSENT Murphy Coontz Murphy, Chairman Coontz, Spurgeon, Slater Barrera Moved to adopt Resolution No. ORA-03l6 as introduced, be adopted and same was passed and adopted by the preceding vote and certifying Environmental Impact Report No. 1500-96 with the revised Mitigation Measures refelTed to as part of Exhibit "B" of Agenda Item No. 13.2 dated June 11, 1996; Land Use Mitigation Measure No.2 - Add additional language; Air Quality Mitigation Measures - Page 2.2- 4 - Addition of language; and Traffic Mitigation Measure 2.3-6 - Adding new Mitigation Measure 3.RESOLUTION NO.
