S u b ject: Public Comment Item #3.1 -- O range C ounty Clas s ical Academy
Commissioners,
I am writing in s upport of the request before you for the O range County Classical Academy to house 360
students in a currently vacant school building of the O range Unified School District.
My wife and I, in addition to being grandparents, are also well acquainted with our public school system here in
California and in Orange County. My wife is a retired elementary teacher and I was privileged to serve for 8
years on the school board of Rim of the World Unified School District in Lake Arrowhead, Ca. We currently
reside in Anaheim Hills and are active in our local community.
In these unprecedented times I am aware of the challenges faced by our local public schools, and more
importantly, by our children and their families. The value to our community, our state and our nation of a quality
education is inestimable!
It is our hope that your commission will approve this permit to insure that even more families in our county will
have access to an excellent education, right here in our own community.
