Hello Planning Commis sioners,
My name is Amy Dam. There is a charter school opening here in Orange that I am excited for my two c hildren to
attend. It is called Orange County Clas sical Academy (OCCA). I would like to respectfully ask you to approve this
permit to increase enrollment from 300 s tudents to 360 students, so that my children may attend. The City of Orange
Staff recommends approval as well, and I would like to encourage the Planning Commission to vote to accept the
staff rec ommendation. I hope that in approving this permit, more families like mine will have access to the valuable
education being offered here in our community by OCCA. Of course, we will do our utmost to be good neighbors to
the surrounding residents and minimize any traffic or park ing-related c onc erns.
