RES-10877 Updated City Street SystemRESOLUTION NO. 10877 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE ACCEPTING CERTAIN ROADS AND STREETS INTO THE CITY STREET SYSTEM. WHEREAS, Section 1806 of the California Streets and Highways Code provides that, except upon the annexation of territory to the City, no public or private street or road shall become a City street or road until the City Council, by resolution, has caused the street or road to be accepted into the City street system; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1806 of the California Streets and Highways Code, the City Council desires to accept the real property and /or parcel described as Assessor's Parcel No. 231 - 061 -56, which is depicted on the map attached to this Resolution as Exhibit A , into the City street system. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Orange as follows: Section 1. Effective upon the date that a certified copy of this Resolution is recorded in the Official Records of the County of Orange, the real property and /or parcels described as Assessor's Parcel No. 231- 061 -56, which is depicted on the map attached to this Resolution as Exhibit A, into the City street system. Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution, attested by the City Clerk under seal, to be recorded without acknowledgement, certificate of acknowledgement, or further proof in the Official Records of the County of Orange. Section 3. All actions heretofore taken by the officers, employees and agents of the City with respect to the acceptance of conveyance and the recordation of any instrument relating to any and all of the real property and/or parcels described in Section 1 of this Resolution are hereby approved, confirmed and ratified, and the officers and employees of the City are hereby authorized and directed, jointly and severally, to do any and all things and to execute and deliver any and all certificates and documents which they may deem necessary or advisable in order to consummate the acceptance of said streets or roads into the City street system and otherwise to effectuate the purposes of this Resolution.
