The following claim(s) have been received and investigated by the City Attorney's Office
and/or the Risk Manager. After a thorough investigation with the involved departments, it is the
recommendation of the City Attorney's Office that the claim(s) be denied:
a. GEICO General Insurance Company subrogee for Viet Quoc Nguyen
b. Allstate Northbrook Indemnity Company subrogee for Joni Clayton
c. Julie Sa
13. RECOMMENDATION
Deny claim(s) and refer to City Attorney and Claims Adjuster.

7. DISCUSSION and BACKGROUND
a. Claim for damages from GEICO General Insurance Company subrogee for Viet Quoc
Nguyen alleging property damage to their insured's vehicle, however, the insurance
company served the claim on the wrong entity.
b. Claim for damages from Allstate Northbrook Indemnity Company subrogee for Joni
Clayton alleging property damage to their insured's vehicle, however, the insurance
company served the claim on the wrong entity.
c. Claim for damages from Julie Sa alleging personal injury and property damage when
she tripped and fell while in a City facility.
