The Orange Industrial Development Authority of the City of Orange, California, convened on
December 9, 2003 at 4:30 p.m. in a Regular Meeting in the Council Chambers, 300 E. Chapman
A venue, Orange, California.

3. CONSENT CALENDAR
3.1 Declaration of the Secretary of the Orange Industrial Development Authority, Mary E.
Murphy, declaring posting of Orange Industrial Development Authority Agenda of a
regular meeting of December 9, 2003 at Orange Civic Center, Main Library at 101 N.
Center Street, Police facility at 1107 North Batavia, and Shaffer Park, all of said
locations being in the City of Orange and freely accessible to members of the public at
least 72 hours before commencement of said regular meeting.
ACTION: Accepted Declaration of Agency Posting and authorized its retention as a public
record in the Office of the Authority Secretary.
3.2 Approve Orange Industrial Development Authority Minutes, Regular Meeting,
December 10, 2002.
ACTION: Approved.

4. REPORTS OF OFFICERS AND COMMITTEES
4.1 Administrative Report from the Acting Assistant Executive Director of the Industrial
Development Authority of the City of Orange Issue A of 1997 on behalf of Control Air
Conditioning.
SUMMARY: Administrative Report from the Acting Assistant Executive Director regarding the
status of the Industrial Development Authority of the City of Orange Issue A of 1997 on behalf of
Control Air Conditioning Corporation.
The Acting Assistant Executive Director reported that the bond issuance required an annual report.
He reported that in 1997, Control Air Conditioning Corporation had 200 employees; this year they
employ 500.
Member Alvarez asked if any other businesses had applied for this type of assistance. The Acting
Assistant Executive Director explained that the complex application process had dissuaded other
companies from applying.

ACTION: Received and filed, as required annually, an Administrative Report regarding the status of
