Re: CPR/First Aid/AED Training
CPR/First Aid/AED training will resume at the OCSD facility (1900 W. Katella Ave.) on the dates listed below.
All sworn personnel, lieutenants and below, are required to participate. Each session must be filled with at
least 14 officers for the class to be held.
Regardless of divisional assignment, sign-ups or any changes to your scheduled date shall be coordinated
through your respective scheduling supervisor. Overtime may only be approved by your lieutenant.
Please sign up as soon as possible to ensure your spot in the class can be reserved. The classes are set aside for
our department, but OCSD will attempt to backfill any empty spots as the date gets closer. Please DO NOT
sign up if you attended a training session earlier this year before the COVID-19 shutdown.
To expedite the reservation process, I will keep the sign-up book in my office during my regular hours (M-TH:
0600-1600). The book will be in the Briefing Room when I’m not here. If you have any questions, please call me
